I was raised on a farm in Franklin, Ky where I loved farm life, horses, dogs and cats. From the age of 5, I wanted to be a veterinarian. I enjoyed horse judging and veterinary science projects while participating in 4-H in Simpson County.
I attended Western Kentucky University for three years and finished with my Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science at Auburn University. In 1991, I graduated from Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine where I had been involved with parasitology research, the colic team and wound healing research.
My family spent 17 years traveling the world with the Air Force. I have enjoyed practicing in England, Washington state, New Mexico and Georgia before settling in Warren County in 2006. We stay busy with three children who enjoy traveling, riding horses and sports. Our animal family includes 3 dogs, 2 cats, and 2 horses.
I have special interests in sports medicine, senior pet care and dermatology. I have trained Labradors for field trails and the family Beagle now has his Canine Good Citizen Certificate. Veterinary medicine is a wonderful profession that I thoroughly enjoy. I am looking forward to being a part of the Bowling Green community for years to come.
